Fal·lera Gironina is an entity that emerged in the late 1990s, specifically in 1997. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to recovering the tradition of giants in Girona and to show the imagery of the city in parades of towns and cities throughout Catalonia and in other places such as the Balearic Islands, Italy, Belgium or the Basque Country.
La Fal·lera not only takes to the streets the giants and bigheads of the city of Girona, but also has a lively music band, a group of people dancing canes and several pieces of imagery that help create a great street show.
Today La Fal·lera Gironina is made up of about thirty people from several generations, all united by the love of giants and the imagery of the city.
