Platea is a reference night party space since its birth in 1993. Currently the local is called Nou Platea, but maintains the essence of the original Platea: committed to diverse music and party adapted to different ages and styles. Very plural space that has two differentiated spaces and that, usually, on Wednesdays and Thursdays focuses on the youngest audience and on Fridays and Saturdays in the adult audience. Every Thursday they host college parties and some Fridays they play swing music. They also organize thematic parties and various activities such as colloquiums, record presentations and live concerts. Various groups have passed through Platea such as Jarabe de Palo, Sergio Dalma, Pau Riba, Albert Pla, Dover and Sopa de Cabra.
